Moderna was founded in 2006 and today is part of a highly specialized group, organized into dedicated teams focused on specific sectors.

2006

Foundation

Moderna was established as a pear producer.

2015

Merger with Mondefruta SL

Mondefruta, a company specialising in the import and production of stone fruit and citrus, has joined our group. This strategic decision, driven by increasing market demand, establishes us as a leader in the import of premium fresh produce.

2022

Mondefrute Almeria

We opened the Mondefruta branch in Almería, Spain, which is dedicated to the production of fresh vegetables. This expansion has enabled us to further diversify our product range and meet the growing demand for high-quality vegetables.

2023

Opening of Albanian office

We inaugurated our branch in Albania, which focuses on vegetable production. This strategic move has strengthened our international presence and guaranteed a steady supply of fresh, top-quality products.

2024

Expansion of our logistic hub

To meet the increasing demand, we have expanded our logistics facilities. This investment allows us to manage rising production volumes efficiently and guarantee the timely delivery of top-quality products.
